Radiological Security Scientist/Engineer
We have an opening for a Staff Scientist supporting the Radiological Security portfolio, an element of LLNL's Global Material Security Program funded by the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Office of Radiological Security (ORS). You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team that works on enhancing US and global security by preventing high-activity radioactive materials from being used in acts of terrorism. Responsibilities include: providing subject matter expertise across a range of applied physics topics, authoring original technical content to include presentations, white papers, and funding proposals, and leading technical exchanges with international collaborators.
