Assistant Professor, Experimental Quantum Information Physics
The Department of Physics (physics.ucf.edu) at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track assistant professor, anticipated to begin in August 2024. We seek candidates with experience and research plans in experimental physics with an emphasis on superconductor-based devices for quantum information applications, including, but not limited to, quantum computing, quantum transduction, and quantum sensing. The successful candidate’s research is expected to leverage a recent major investment by UCF in cleanroom facilities for fabrication of state-of-the-art micro- and nano-scale devices. The selected candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded, and creative research program and have a st
