Job Summary: The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking applicants for a new faculty member beginning Fall 2024, at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, depending on qualifications.The UW-Madison has highly ranked research programs in theoretical, computational, and experimental plasma physics and fusion research. The Physics Department seeks outstanding candidates with expertise in experimental plasma physics who will develop a leading experimental research program in one or more areas of fusion, plasma astrophysics, space physics, and basic plasma physics. Candidates must have a proven track record of innovation and high-impact research and are expected to build a vigorous, well-funded research program with an intern
