The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, invites applications for a non-tenure-track Teaching Assistant or Associate Professor position to begin January 3, 2024. The primary responsibilities include the instruction of introductory courses for majors and non-majors, the development of on-line course materials, and a commitment to service of the the teaching mission of the department.  There are also opportunities to create and teach general education physics and astronomy courses for non-majors. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of independent college-level teaching experience, including large-enrollment courses, using approaches that involve both active and collaborative learning and evidence of a commitment to
