5 Assistant Professorship Opportunities at UF Physics
The Department of Physics at the University of Florida invites applications for full-time, nine-month, tenure-accruing positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin August 16, 2023. Searches are being conducted in five areas, described below. All applicants will have a Ph.D. in Physics. Salaries are competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and include a full benefits package. Experimental High Energy Physics - The area of interest is the experimental particle physics research conducted at the Large Hadron Collider with the CMS experiment. UF has one of the largest US university groups in the CMS experiment, comprising several faculty members, students, postdocs, scientists, and engineers. The group currently leads projects and teams
