Assistant or Associate Professor - Thermal Fluid Sciences, Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Connecticut is growing the faculty to develop the existing strengths of the Department and expand in exciting new directions. Applications are invited for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the general area of thermal-fluid sciences. In particular, we seek outstanding candidates in areas including computational aerodynamics, aerospace propulsion, and hypersonics. Strong candidates will also be considered in other areas of thermal-fluid sciences including heat and mass transfer in energy systems and processes, materials processing, and micro- and nano-fluidics. The successful candidate will develop an internationally recognized and externally funded research progr
