Assistant Professor in Physics (Fixed-Length)
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Maine seeks to fill a fixed-length, two-year, non-tenure track, academic-year appointment as Assistant Professor, anticipated to start August 29, 2022. This position is not renewable. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teach post-introductory undergraduate and core graduate courses; upper-division laboratory courses may be included. Participate in curriculum development and assessment. Conduct research and scholarship that could involve graduate and undergraduate students. Advise students. Service to the department.
