Physics Assistant Professor of the Practice
The Department of Physics is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of the Practice. This is a full-time non-tenure track position, with a three-year contract and the possibility of regular renewal. The teaching load will be five courses per year (a 3-2 load), with a primary responsibility for teaching and supporting undergraduate students and their activities. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field, and will be expected to teach introductory physics courses, participate in the development and teaching of upper level applied physics courses, and contribute significantly to the educational and service activities of the department and University. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications, training and experience. E
