Learning for Future is seeking STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) teachers of native English speaker to teach STEM course in Beijing secondary and primary schools. Starting from September 2017 for one academic year ends at June 2018. Possibility to extend.
Teach STEM course in English to secondary and primary schools in Beijing.
16 classes per week maximum, 90 minutes for each class.
Assist in organizing students’ activities during summer and winter vocation, as well as at semester breaks.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM or similar education field.
Native English speaker
Minimum one year of classroom experience as full time teacher
Experience working with children or teens.
Love of creating solutions and exploring science.
Demonstrated classroom management skills.
Licensed educator with a primary or secondary certification, preferably with endorsements in middle school and at least one STEM topic.
Desire to work in and learn in a Chinese culture environment
Ability to improvise in the classroom when needed.
Experience working with teams of students on a STEM competition.
SALARY AND BENEFITES
