The California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the department of Applied Physics and Materials Science in the Division of Engineering and Applied Science. Our department is a unique environment where innovative, interdisciplinary, and foundational research is conducted in a collegial atmosphere.
Candidates in all areas of applied physics and materials science or related fields are invited to apply. Candidates are expected to make strong commitments to excellence in research, teaching, and mentoring. The initial appointment is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. degree.
