University Professor for Solid State Physics
For this position, we are looking for a highly qualified person of international reputation who can represent teaching and research in the field of solid state physics. The candidate's excellent research should extend and complement the current scientific work at the Institute and focus on the application of advanced scattering experiments or spectroscopic techniques. The aim is to deepen the fundamental understanding of the physical properties of energy-relevant materials. Possible research topics include structure and morphology relationships in advanced semiconductor materials, as well as the investigation of excited states and their dynamics or charge and heat transport in such materials. Examples of advanced semiconductors include (but are not limited to) porous semiconducting mate
