Regional Initiative to Promote Undergraduate Participation in Experimental and Computation
The NSF REU program is a 10-week program that involves a hands-on research experience for undergraduate students, whereby participants work in the labs of some of UAB’s renown scientists. The Summer 2024 program dates: May 19, 2024- July 26, 2024. For Summer 2024, we will begin accepting applications December 1, 2023. The application form, resume, unofficial transcript, two-page essay, and letters of recommendation should be received by April 1, 2024, however, applications will be considered on a rolling basis (meaning they will be reviewed upon receipt and some offers may be made before the April 1, 2024.
