The Department of Physics at the University of Basel, Switzerland, invites applications for a professorship (open rank) in the areas of experimental quantum nanophysics and/or quantum materials. The University of Basel is the home institution of the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) and of the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) "SPIN: Spin Qubits in Silicon". Candidates at the tenure-track assistant professorship level are particularly encouraged to apply.
