Computational Physics Student Summer Workshop
The Computational Physics Student Summer Workshop includes projects representing a wide range of disciplines in computational multi-physics. In addition to working on their own projects, students skills spanning many different branches of computational science, and how they all work together. Students also have the opportunity to tour unique LANL facilities. More information and a complete list of projects for summer 2023 is on our website.
8th Parallel Computing Summer Research Internship Program
The Parallel Computing Summer Research Internship is aimed at providing students with a solid foundation in modern high performance computing (HPC) topics integrated with research on real problems encountered in large-scale scientific codes. Students will collaborate in teams to identify and investigate different computational problems and implement solutions with guidance from mentors with scientific and computational expertise.
Students are encouraged to apply to either or both schools. Both schools use rolling admission: a limited number of seats are reserved for early admission on a first-come, first-served basis: select students may receive an offer with 2-3 weeks of submitting their application. All other students will be notified by mid-February.
For students looking for other opportunities at Los Alamos National Laboratory, a more complete list of summer schools can be found here.
