The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rice University invites applications for a university-level teaching position in physics and astronomy, commencing in 2023.  A Ph.D. in physics or related field by July 1, 2023, is required for the position.  Experience in physics education research, undergraduate teaching at the introductory level, and development of pedagogical techniques designed to broaden participation among members of traditionally under-represented groups is preferred.  The initial appointment will be at the lecturer level or within the promotable teaching professor ranks, depending on qualifications and experience.
