The Department of Engineering Physics in the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks candidates for three tenure-track faculty positions in fusion technology and plasma science. Exceptional candidates in the areas of fusion system design, fusion plasma computation, and the broader areas of fusion technology and plasma-material interaction will be considered. Candidates who are able to transfer experience from nuclear fission system design and analysis to fusion technology are encouraged to apply.The Department is reinvesting in its long-term strategic priority of fusion technology.
