Position Summary: The Department of Physics at Gettysburg College invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Physics beginning August 2023. Our preference is for individuals who have engaged in research-supported pedagogy centered around student learning and who foster active learning environments. Responsibilities include teaching courses across the undergraduate physics curriculum (including upper-level research courses), conducting a dynamic experimental research program involving undergraduates, and actively participating in the governance of the department and college.
