QUALIFICATIONS:
M.S. in Physics, Astronomy, or related field required, PhD or ABD preferred; ability to teach introductory and upper-level physics courses, as well as general education courses; evidence of potential for teaching excellence; willingness to support the mission of the College.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach the equivalent of seven undergraduate courses (approximately three each in both Fall and Winter Term, plus one during May Term), including Astronomy, algebra-based introductory physics with lab, Classical Mechanics, Earth Science, and/or other courses depending on departmental needs and candidate qualifications.
SALARY: Competitive
CONTRACT: Nine-month, non-renewable
