Associate in Discipline/Lecturer in Discipline
The Columbia University Department of Physics invites applications for an Associate in Discipline or Lecturer in Discipline to lead the introductory lab program beginning Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 semester. The appointment involves developing and presenting new experiments, implementing new instructional pedagogies, and training, mentoring and supervision of teaching assistants for the laboratory courses.  The appointment also requires teaching of several sections of the undergraduate laboratories.  For an Associate in Discipline, the MA degree is required and for a Lecturer in Discipline, the PhD is required. Candidates should have physics laboratory teaching experience. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, renewable position, with multi-year reappointments contingent upon successful
