We have multiple openings for Chemists to work in the High Explosives Application Facility (HEAF) to address programmatic and research and development needs in energetic materials. You will collaborate with principal investigators and scientific and technical staff in explosive research and programmatic/experimental activities for surveillance and aging studies, physical and chemical characterization, and detonation science. These positions are in the Energetic Materials Group of the Materials Science Division. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team.
