Our consultants work closely with customers to develop LabVIEW based automated systems for diverse applications such as manufacture of composites, amphibious vehicle controller development, and measurement of rock mechanics. Projects are often underspecified, so candidates must be able to jump into a new field, recognize the fundamental needs of a client, and collaborate on completing the system design. Writing professional grade LabVIEW code either individually or in a small team is where the majority of our time is spent. Once we’re ready to start testing code, our work is on the hardware at customer sites, where we must differentiate between our bugs, driver bugs, hardware problems, and fundamental design issues as we bring new systems online. It’s interesting work that requires a sharp mind, good communication skills, a deep interest in programming, and laboratory type experience.
Our current consultants have a variety of engineering and physics backgrounds, so we are more concerned with capability, interest, and experience than credentials.
Candidates must supply samples of their LabVIEW code as part of the interview process. The salary scale corresponds to (Good but entry level LabVIEW skill) - (Experienced LabVIEW developer).
We can only consider U.S. persons because of our projects that require U.S. persons
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
