A postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Katherine Aidala, in close collaboration with Alexi Arango, in the Physics department at Mount Holyoke College. The lab focuses on electrical scanning probe techniques to complement traditional transport measurements to better understand the movement of charges in organic semiconductors and related materials. Existing collaborations also enable applying these electrical scanning probe techniques to MoS2 and other 2D materials. The position is a one-year grant funded appointment supported through the Center for Integrated Quantum Materials.
The qualified applicant will have a Ph.D. in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. Previous experience with transport measurements, device fabrication and characterization and/or scanning probe microscopy is preferred. Apply online at https://careers.mtholyoke.edu. A review of applications will begin June 15 and continue until the position is filled.
