Lewis & Clark College, a private liberal arts college in Portland, Oregon, invites applications for the first year of a two-year visiting assistant professorship in the Department of Physics. The first year of the appointment will span Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 (nine months). Teaching (expected to be in-person) may include service courses for non-majors, introductory physics courses, up to advanced undergraduate courses depending on expertise. The usual load is five courses per academic year (a combination of lecture and laboratory).
