Assistant or Associate Professor in Physics
HR Senior Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
The successfully recruited candidate will be expected to conduct research and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Physics and Applied Physics, from the Foundation Year in Sciences, to the Master in Physics. Programs are designed by Sorbonne Université (SU) – Faculté des Sciences in Paris. Courses are delivered exclusively in English and follow the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), the diploma being awarded by SU. Duties will include teaching lectures, tutorials and labs, developing courses and course material, administering labs and directing student research and projects. In accordance with published faculty workload guidelines, the candidate is expected to participate in the continual development of the curriculum. She/he will also collaborate with faculty members, in promoting the department’s activities on local, regional and international levels, serve on committees, and participate in the life of the University. The candidate will report to the Head of Department.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Physics or related fields
Minimum Experience: 5 years at university level

Additional Salary Information: Basic Salary AED (19,000 – 32,000)
