University of Southern California
The Levenson-Falk Lab at the University of Southern California is hiring a postdoc to conduct experimental research on hybrid error suppression and open quantum systems engineering with superconducting qubits. The postdoc will be expected to design superconducting circuits, build microwave measurement apparatuses, measure devices and analyze data, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, present results in scientific journals and conferences, and act as a senior researcher helping to supervise day-to-day activity in the lab. Minimum qualifications include: · PhD in physics or a related field · At least 3 years experience in experimental research Preference will be given to candidates with experience in experimental quantum information science, AMO physics, or a related field. This is a 1-year appointment with the expectation of at least 1-2 years renewal. Starting salary for this role is $60k (negotiable for candidates with exceptional qualifications) and includes full benefits.
