The Department of Physics and Astronomy within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) invites applications for a 90% contract, one-year, term funded faculty position at the rank of Term Instructor responsible for teaching lower division Physics and/or Astronomy laboratory courses. The start date for this position is August 8, 2021, with the potential for renewal thereafter. Salary is commensurate with experience.

MS in Physics and/or Astronomy (or related field). A Ph.D. is preferred, but not required for this term position. A strong interest in and aptitude for teaching undergraduates in introductory physics and astronomy and associated laboratories is vital.
