Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position in Applied Physics, starting on August 16, 2021.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching and the supervision of student research. Responsibilities will include teaching lecture and lab courses in General Physics (lectures and labs), Mechanics, Optics, and Electronics. Candidates with experience in computer-aided design and CNC fabrication are also encouraged to apply.
A Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, or a closely related field of engineering is required.
