We are looking for exceptionally qualified candidates ready to strengthen the research profile of our institution with contemporary activities in the area of quantum optics. Possible topics include the development of optical methods for spectroscopy and sensing, in particular in the context of sustainability (e.g. atmospheric spectroscopy, photo-voltaics, photo-catalytics) and modern developments in the area of magneto-optics or time- and spatially resolved lightmatter-interaction. Teaching qualifications for the full breadth of experimental physics (bachelor-, master and PhD-level) and the topics of the institute are expected. Graz University of Technology and Karl-Franzens-University Graz are dedicated to establish a common physics department within the framework of NAWI Graz. Readiness to actively contribute to this center and for local, interdisciplinary collaborations is expected.
