Description of Position: The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar specializing in condensed matter theory to work in the group of Dr. Yafis Barlas. Primary responsibilities for this position include researching topological materials, 2D crystals and strongly correlated electrons and performing analytical and numerical calculations and developing models to address important scientific questions in the aforementioned research areas.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in condensed matter theory or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Computational and analytical skills in modelling topological and strongly correlated materials.
