The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory offers a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship: the Jack E. Crow Postdoctoral Fellowship. The Jack E. Crow Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was named after the founding director of the NHMFL, whose long-time commitment to education and research at all levels is well known. The program is designed for Ph.D.s with a research interest in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science. NHMFL is a world-class facility providing challenging environment for cutting-edge scientific and engineering research. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree within the last (5) five years and must demonstrate a strong record of academic and research accomplishments.
The Jack E. Crow Postdoctoral Fellowship Program will pay fellows $65,000 per year, including benefits.
The following must be submitted:
One page statement of prior research activities and future research interests that will be pursued at the NHMFL if granted a fellowship. The statement should identify a sponsor or group at the NHMFL who best represents the research in the area proposed. It is strongly recommended that a sponsor be contacted to assess the feasibility of the project prior to submitting the application.
Curriculum vitae including publications and science education activities.
At least three letters of reference (not from the sponsor) in support of the application sent on applicant’s behalf.
Unofficial transcripts (Official graduate transcripts will be required from successful applicants to whom offers are extended).
