Join the team that is revolutionizing the timing industry with the best silicon Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) timing products in the world. As a Computational Physicist, you will be pushing the boundaries of contemporary MEMS development methods and techniques by (a) architecting and developing computational tools to create and characterize SiTime’s next-generation MEMS products, (b) designing novel MEMS resonators for the multitude of applications.
Develop cutting-edge computational software based on Finite Elements and other methods
Solve challenging mechanics, thermodynamics, and electrodynamics problems analytically and computationally
Develop general-purpose MEMS engineering software
Participate in the design of next-generation MEMS and Packaging technologies
Work in cross-functional Engineering teams, including Circuits, Systems, and Packaging
Drive and/or support other projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
PhD in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Deep knowledge in physics, mechanical engineering, solid mechanics, and thermal design
2+ years of experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEM, FEA) including commercial software such as COMSOL or ANSYS
Proven record of implementing advanced computational tools with best programming practices
Experience with MATLAB preferred
