DescriptionThe University of Pennsylvania's Department of Computer & Information Science is pleased to welcome applications for multiple teaching positions as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer. It is a very exciting time to be engaged in computer science education at Penn, as we are experiencing incredible growth and interest in CS courses at all levels, are developing new on-campus and online learning programs, and are rapidly growing the size of our faculty. We are seeking dedicated, accomplished, full-time instructors to teach introductory-sequence courses, undergraduate electives, and Master’s-level courses in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, software systems, cyber security, and other areas, starting in July 2020. Additionally (see separate job posting), as part of our revamped teaching-track faculty career path, recently we introduced a Practice Assistant Professor position. This is a great career choice for teaching-focused faculty members who have a track record of published research in engineering education and are interested in developing innovative pedagogical techniques.
