The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University invites applications for the position of Assistant, Associate or Full Teaching Professor. A term teaching faculty position holds responsibilities primarily contributing to the teaching mission of the department, and will be expected to teach and/or develop courses in software engineering or in the newly created cybersecurity engineering program.
Preferred education and experience includes excellent record of achievement in teaching or engineering practice in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a closely related discipline; experience that demonstrates capability for long-term leadership in engineering education; excellent communication skills; and share in our commitment to achieving excellence through diversity and inclusion.
Department/Program & College Description: The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University is home to 54 faculty, and is associated with 11 research centers and institutes. The department boasts 18 IEEE Fellows, over $15M in research expenditures (FY18), and one of the largest ECpE enrollments in the nation.
