In the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Bonn, the Institute of Applied Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a
PROFESSORSHIP (W3) FOR EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICS
We are looking for a candidate with an outstanding track record in the field of quantum physics with atoms or photons. Participation in the Collaborative Research Centre/Transregio 185 “OSCAR – Open System Control of Atomic and Photonic Matter” and the Cluster of Excellence “Matter and Light for Quantum Computing” of the German Research Foundation and other future focused research projects is desirable. Teaching is expected at the usual level for such a professorship.
The conditions of employment are according to § 36 Hochschulgesetz NRW.
