We are looking for a Physicist / Engineer to help with diverse projects. Scope includes optics, vacuum, experiment-design and a fixed budget. We need an organized person to help collaborate with all stakeholders (customers, production, vendors, and sales) and to develop instrument solutions.
•Do optical ray-trace, drawing / drafting, and communicate complex ideas •Have knowledge of mechanics and optics, preferred concentration spectroscopy •Enjoy system (optical) design for X-ray to LWIR wavelengths •Practice high- and ultra-high vacuum techniques •Get hands on experience in optical and system alignment
