Job Description: The University of South Carolina Upstate Division of Mathematics and Computer Science is accepting applications for a non-tenure track Instructor of Computer Science position with a start date of August 16, 2019. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in computer science, advising students, and participating in internal and external service activities.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Computer Science required by time of appointment. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and relevant teaching experience. Successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science with coursework in one or more of the following areas: Computer Organization and Architecture, Robotics, E-Business and Web Application Development.
