The Department of Chemistry and Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a Research Scientist to support the Platform for the Accelerated Realization, Analysis, and Analysis & Discovery of Interface Materials (PARADIM). This is a non-tenure track position within the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (KSAS). Duties include developing new materials syntheses, synthesis capabilities, and data analysis techniques, providing technical help with instrument operation, safety and training, advertising and publicizing activities and capabilities of the facility, and helping develop standards and practices for safe and ethical use of shared equipment. Appointment is expected at the assistant or associate research scientist level depending on prior experience and qualifications.
Educational Qualifications: MA/MS or equivalent in chemistry, materials science, condensed matter physics or related fields.
Preferred Education: Ph.D. or equivalent
