ordered materials, magnetism, quantum algorithms and errorcorrection,
superconducting qubits, quantum-enhanced
metrology,solid-state spin qubits, photonics, and mesoscopic
physics. In addition, within the Institut Quantique, members of the
Department maintain strong ties with engineers and computer
scientists, whose expertise includes micro-/nano-fabrication, cold
electronics, single-electron transistors, packaging, integration, and
quantum computing. Institut Quantique researchers are members of
several Canadian and international networks, including the RQMP
(Regroupement Québécois sur les Matériaux de Pointe), INTRIQ
(INstitut TRansdisciplinaire d'Informatique Quantique), Canadian
Institute for Advanced Research (Quantum Materials and Quantum
Information Science), and the Laboratoire International Associé
France-Canada on quantum circuits and materials. They have
access to world-class computing resources and state-of-the-art
facilities for nano-fabrication and characterization of quantum
materials and devices.
