The Department of Physics in the College of Science and Mathematics at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics faculty position to begin August 2019. Candidates should possess expertise in Experimental or Computational Optics. We are particularly interested in applicants who can complement and enhance the existing research in the department that includes laser-material interactions, optical materials, non-linear optics, quantum optics, optical superresolution imaging, metrology, and integrated photonics. Candidates for this position must show potential for producing high-quality refereed publications and securing extramural funding as well as a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. An earned doctorate degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, or the foreign equivalent, or its equivalent in training, ability, and/or experience is required.
