: We are seeking a Intern Summer \- R&D Grad The Interns for Security, Arms Control, and Force Protection Engineering \(iSAFE\) Institute is one of the premier Intern Institutes at Sandia National Laboratories\. We are seeking outstanding graduate students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Explosives Engineering, Geophysics, Materials Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Seismology, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields of study\. Our Interns will work on high\-caliber, cohesive teams to support projects related to the United States National Security Missions\. These projects include but are not limited to, critical asset protection and security, nuclear weapons and force protection, and weapons of mass destruction nonproliferation and cooperative threat reduction\.
