The University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position in medical physics. The selected candidate will develop machine learning and artificial intelligence applications and algorithms with the ultimate aim of enhancing the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of radiation therapy. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Excellent programming, problem solving, and mathematical modeling skills are required. This position will provide an entry point into the field of academic medical physics for the right candidate, and an opportunity to gain experience in the rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence in medicine.
