The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) invites applications for a full-time, temporary faculty position (#125030). This opening is initially a one semester position at the rank of Lecturer with possible annual renewal up to three years total, depending on departmental needs. Employment will begin on January 1, 2019.
Successful candidate will teach introductory physics and astronomy lectures and laboratories. Laboratories are taught using an inquiry-based pedagogy with significant group work.

Required education is a Master's Degree in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related field. Applicants who possess a PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related field (conferred by January 1, 2019) will receive special consideration.
