The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time Faculty Position in the Department of Physics and Chemistry, starting fall 2019. The successful candidate must be committed to teaching all aspects of undergraduate physics, developing new courses, and collaborating with department faculty on curriculum and new program development. Opportunities to establish research projects involving undergraduate students may be pursued. A PhD in physics or a closely related field, prior teaching experience, and effective communication skills are required. Postdoctoral experience and ongoing professional contributions in related areas are desirable. The search will focus on the Assistant Professor level; however applications from senior candidates may be considered for higher rank.
MSOE is a private, application-oriented university with programs in Engineering, User Experience, Business, Construction Management and Nursing. Primarily a four-year undergraduate institution, MSOE emphasizes excellence in teaching. Consulting and applied research are encouraged.
