The Lapidus and Feig labs at Michigan State University have an open postdoctoral position for interdisciplinary research on protein interactions in a cellular environment. The position will use both experiment and computation to characterize the effects of crowding on biomolecular dynamics, stability, and diffusive properties. Candidates should have a PhD in physics, biophysics, biochemistry or related field and experience in one or more of the following: optical spectroscopy, computational biology, polymer physics or soft condensed matter physics and an enthusiasm to learn new skills.
