Physics Postdoctoral Research Position in Radiation Oncology focused on Light Ion Radiation Therapy

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the Division of Medical Physics. Individuals with a strong interest in the application of computational tools and particle/nuclear physics principles in radiation medicine and experience in Monte Carlo simulation methods are encouraged to apply. The 2-year fellowship offers individualized research opportunity in the area of Monte Carlo simulations directly related to the characterization and clinical performance of a future pencil beam scanning light ion therapy facility at Mayo Clinic. The incumbent is expected to conduct research leading to publications and presentations at national/international meetings under the guidance of our faculty.
