Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in experimental physics within the Otago Quantum Optics Group. The project aims to use cryogenic rare earth ion dopants for microwave memories and for the transduction of quantum states from microwave to optical frequencies.
Your Skills and Experience
Successful candidates should have a PhD in Physics and a demonstrated strength in one more of the following areas:
The spectroscopy of rare-earth ions in solids;
Quantum optics; or
This is a full-time, fixed term position for two years.
