Postdoctoral Research Associate: Computational Physics

The Computational Physics group at Texas A&M University, led by Helmut Katzgraber, is seeking postdoctoral research associates. We are looking for creative, self-motivated individuals who have the ability and interest to pursue challenging, interdisciplinary problems at the crossroads of statistical physics of disordered systems, quantum enhanced optimization, and computational physics. Successful candidates would meet the following qualifications.
Completion of an earned PhD in physics, computer science, or a related field completed at least six (6) weeks before start date
Good programming skills
A strong academic background and knowledge in areas related to spin glasses, optimization methods, computational physics, algorithms

Statement of research interests (2 page limit)
