Tenure Track Assistant Professor - Marquette University
The Physics Department at Marquette University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position as an assistant professor to begin on 16 August 2018. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, and is seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field. Applicants pursuing research in any AIP recognized area of physics are welcome to apply.
Applicants must have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching and engaging undergraduate students in research. Academic responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper level courses offered by the Department. The successful applicant will also be expected to develop a strong research program and to maintain a high level of scholarly activity. There is considerable opportunity for collaborative research on and off campus.
