St. Norbert College, a nationally ranked, residential liberal arts institution with an enrollment of 2,200 students, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics beginning August 2018. Preference will be given to candidates specializing one of the following areas: Condensed Matter Physics, Astrophysics, Engineering/Applied Physics, or Medical Physics.
The responsibilities of this position include teaching two courses per semester, including associated laboratories, advising students, maintaining an active research agenda involving students, and collegial service. The successful candidate will also be afforded the opportunity and support to develop new and innovative courses in their area of expertise and in the College's Core Curriculum program.
