Position Overview
The EHS Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance within the organization. The role aims to ensure adherence to regulations and best practices while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with environmental and safety standards.
  • Coordinate training and education programs for employees on EHS practices and regulations.
  • Manage the development and submission of all necessary environmental permits, including MACT and air permits.
  • Oversee waste management strategies and ensure all waste disposal methods comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain corporate EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to EHS performance metrics, incident reports, and compliance records.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting of any incidents or non-compliance issues.
  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including OSHA guidelines, SPCC, Tier II reporting, and waste management protocols.
  • Experience with Carbon Black and industrial hygiene practices is preferred.
  • Proficient in developing and delivering training and education programs related to EHS.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement corporate EHS programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with documentation and performance metrics related to EHS compliance and improvement.
